Before we dive in, I want to tell you that your photographer should be able to capture beautiful images on your wedding day no matter the situation! They should be able to work well in any lighting situation and any timeline crunch! These tips and tricks are simply little changes that can be made for an ideal photography-friendly wedding day.

What should you know about exits? Just that you should have one!!! Your special day deserves an obvious and climatic ending!

You can have an exit to conclude your ceremony, right after the first kiss.

What’re your Options?

• Sparklers held by guests (ask your venue if these are allowed)
• Sparklers on the ground
• Lanterns
• Bubbles
• Flower Petals
• Confetti
• Rice
• Colored Smoke Bombs
• Steamers
• Glow Sticks
• Ribbon Wands
• Balloons
• Nothing. Seriously. Just have everyone cheer as you run through

Also, I’ve never had a couple leave by horse drawn carriage, and this is my subtle clue that you should very seriously consider it.

I’ve also never had doves released.

If you do exit with your new spouse at the end of the night, please make sure that someone (maybe bridesmaids/groomsmen) are in charge of gathering up the decor items that you brought to the venue & other clean-up that you’re responsible for depending on the venue.
