Riya & Anuj’s Glamorous Engagements at Palace of Fine Arts
This is my first engagement shoot. In advance, I sent my couple an “Engagement Style Guide” beforehand. It’s a giant PDF with pictures and text describing what clothing photographs the best and inspiration on how to style your engagement photos. I wasn’t positive how it would be received, but when I first saw my couple, my jaw dropped. Like major heart eyes <3 <3 <3
Riya and Anuj are having a seven-day wedding in India this winter. As is their culture, their families set them up, so they didn’t have an American-style proposal. However, Anuj pulled me aside and whispered to me that he had bought Riya a ring and was secretly going to propose.
We started out at San Francisco’s Palace of Fine Arts (apparently the most photographed wedding site in the U.S.) and then proceeded to Crissy Fields. You can’t see it in the pictures because an evening fog set in (San Francisco for you) but the Golden Gate Bridge is somewhere there in the background haha.
Congrats again Riya and Anuj!
