It’s been a hot second since I shot for fun. And like the last time I photographed recreationally, I reached out to dancers. They’re just made for the camera.

I reached out to Head-Royce, a high school in Oakland and had a wonderful time coordinating some magic with the captains of the dance team. This dance team is so dedicated that they give up their lunches to practice student-choreographed pieces. We ran around campus in pointe shoes as other students stopped to watch and admire.

And on top of being crazy hard-working, talented, flexible (like seriously what the heck), all these girls were so incredibly sweet and wonderful. Thanks for giving up lunch with me <3
