Stein Eriksen Wedding Information & Cost
Venues are always changing their pricing and policies, so the information in this blog may be out-of-date. But as of 2025 when I’m writing this…
Stein Eriksen Lodge crowns Deer Valley’s Silver Lake Village at 7,900 ft, a true ski-in/ski-out perch. Mid-mountain placement means alpine views in every direction while still giving guests easy access to Park City.
Deer Valley books weddings all twelve months of the year, but each season comes with its own personality, price tag, and logistical quirks:
7700 Stein Way, Park City, UT 84060
Pricing is firmly in the luxury tier. The lodge sells an all-inclusive six-hour “Stein Wedding Package”; recent quotes show ≈ $250–$300 per guest with a 24 % service charge and Utah tax. Summer-weekend F&B minimums typically start around $45 k for 100-guest parties, and smaller groups may see a venue fee (≈ $8 k) if they miss the minimum.
With 24,000 ft² of indoor–outdoor space, Stein accommodates anything from an intimate 40-person brunch to 500-guest galas. The flagship Stein Ballroom seats 250 for dinner, while the Flagstaff Mountain Deck can host 225 ceremony chairs; indoor foyers and terraces expand cocktail capacity to 400 +
All sites include teak chairs, house sound, and bottled-water stations in the wedding package.
Most dinners and dancing unfold in the Stein Ballroom—two fireplaces, neutral alpine décor, and ceiling heights high enough for chandeliers or aerialists. French doors connect to the upper terrace for sunset cocktails, while late-night revelers can shift to the Champions Club arcade-lounge without leaving the property. Smaller parties often use the Flagstaff Room plus patio for a fireside, 60- to 120-guest vibe.
Grand Suites work as built-in bridal lounges: 800-3,000 ft² layouts, fireplaces, full vanities, and private hot-tub decks. Or any other room within the hotel 🙂
Vendors may load in at 2 p.m. on event day, and if the ballroom is dark the day prior, the lodge often grants earlier access at no charge. Packages cover a six-hour event; indoor celebrations may extend to 1 a.m., whereas outdoor music must fade by 10:30 p.m.
Outside planners, florists, bands, and décor teams are welcome—except audio-visual, which is exclusively handled by Wasatch A/V. The property requires at least a licensed month-of planner; full-service planners are recommended for elaborate builds.
An in-house event manager drafts layouts, menus, and banquet timelines, supervises staff on the day, and acts as liaison to your planner. They focus on venue logistics (tables, food, service flow) while the hired planner wrangles décor, photo schedules, and guest movement.
All cuisine and bar service run through the lodge—think Wagyu short ribs, Utah trout, and pastry-chef cakes included in the package. No outside food or drink is permitted by Utah DABC rules; bars are hosted or on consumption, and a bartender is bundled at 1 per 75 guests.
Stein is strictly valet-only; day-event valet is complimentary for guests, and overnight cars are simply added to room folios. Shuttle runs every 30 min to Main Street for anyone who’d rather skip a car altogether.
The resort offers 180 + rooms, suites, and on-mountain residences; contracts usually mandate a 10-room, two-night block at group rates. Guests enjoy five-star spa access, ski lockers, outdoor pools, and a complimentary town shuttle between events.
Stein Eriksen Lodge is not a pet-friendly hotel indoors. Couples occasionally arrange for leashed dogs to appear in outdoor ceremonies and photos with prior approval, but pups must exit before the reception.
