The Cliff Lodge at Snowbird is such an incredible mountain venue.

The Cliff Lodge Seasonal Availability

Indoor events at the Cliff Lodge are available year-round. Outdoor events are available May through October.

The Cliff Lodge Location: 

9320 Cliff Lodge Dr, Snowbird, UT 84092

Snowbird offers prepaid, direct shuttle service from the Salt Lake City airport for $79 round trip. Shuttles leave the airport 8:00 am to midnight on an hourly basis. Return trips leave Snowbird 5:00am to 10:00pm on the hour, based on reservations. Shuttles may be booked by calling 1-800-453-3000.

The Cliff Lodge Cost:

The venue fee for the Golden Cliff, the Primrose Room & the Terrace Tent is $3,500 on Saturday & Sunday. And $3,000 on weekdays. The food and beverage minimum is $10,000.

The venue fee for the Aerie Restaurant + Balcony is $2,500 on Saturday & Sunday. And $2,000 on weekdays. The food and beverage minimum is $5,000.

The Cliff Lodge Ceremony Sites & Capacity:

White or cream ceremony chairs are provided. And an indoor location is available if weather is bad.

• The Magpie Terrrace – 190 guests
  • This patio has gorgeous mountain views
• The Amphitheater – 150-200 guests with stadium style seating
  • A grassy outdoor amphitheater among pinetrees
• Atrium Patio – 200 guests
  • The Atrium Patio faces into the mountains and has glass windows reflecting the views behind guests
• the Aerie Balcony – 60 guests
  • At the top of the cliff lodge, this balcony has panoramic mountain views.

The Cliff Lodge Reception Sites & Capacity:

Dining tables, chairs, floor length linens, silver flatware, glass barware, cake, a guest book, cocktail tables, and a wooden dance floor are provided.

• The Golden Cliff – 150 guests
  • Floor to ceiling Windows with 2 fireplaces, warm wood accents and a bonus upper loft area (accommodates 70 people)
  • Golden Cliff may be set with dinner tables, dance floor and head table for 120-130 guests or a large band with dance floor and dinner tables for 100-120 guests
• The Primrose Room – 250 people
  • This room has beautiful windows showcasing the mountains
  • Accommodates 150-200 guests with round tables, dance floor, band or DJ and head table for seated or buffet dinners. Accommodates 200 with vineyard style tables and dance floor, or casual reception style for over 200 guests.
• Terrace tent – 400 to 600 guests
  • Ride chickadee chairlift to your reception in an open-air tent. The white-canopy tent is next to a grassy lawn perfect for cocktail hour, lounging or lawn games.
  • Casual reception style seating for 600 or more guests. Upper grassy area can accommodate overflow seating for 100-200 guests (weather dependent).

The Cliff Lodge Getting Ready Location:

There is an on-site dressing room available. And booking your wedding at the Summit comes with a complimentary night stay at Snowbird for the wedding couple, which could be another place to get ready.

The Cliff Lodge Vendor Flexibility:

Snowbird requests that wedding vendors are selected from their Preferred Vendors List. If a vendor is selected that is not on the Preferred List, Snowbird asks to be notified in advance. Vendors must provide proof of worker’s compensation insurance and proof of adequate general liability coverage while on Snowbird’s premises. They must also comply with all other requirements that Snowbird deems appropriate, in its sole discretion, regarding use of function space, facilities and use of Snowbird services. Damage to Snowbird premises by the Group’s Vendors will be the Group’s responsibility.

The Cliff Lodge Food & Alcohol:

Snowbird provides all of the onsite food and beverage. An outside wedding cake may be delivered from a licensed bakery. An outside wedding cake fee will be charged per guest. There is no additional cake cutting fee if the wedding cake is provided by the Snowbird Bakery.

Cliff Lodge Lodging:

There are five lodging options within the Snowbird village – the cliff lodge, the cliff club condominiums, The Lodge at Snowbird, The Inn at Snowbird, and The Iron Blosam Lodge.

Booking your wedding at Snowbird comes with a complimentary night stay for the wedding couple, preferred lodging rates for guests throughout the resort, complimentary Cliff Lodge Spa access for guests staying on lodging block, preferred pricing for spa treatments & discount summer or winter activity or lift passes.

Cliff Lodge Pet Policy:

Dogs are not allowed in Little Cottonwood Canyon.
