Hanging out with Jon and Stephanie for their engagement photos was such a tease because I had to wait a year to party with them again. These two are absolutely incredible and their wedding was so much fun. And it was perfect May day to get married. Preservation Park is a recreation of a Victorian neighborhood in the middle of Oakland. Being there felt like having a private town just for ourselves.

There was no awkward emptiness on the dance floor. It was a wedding where the alcohol vendors stopped serving drinks for a minute to take pictures of the dancing guests.

Stephanie and Jon, thank you so much for inviting me into your wonderful day and being so welcoming and kind. I can’t wait to share more photos with you soon!
