This was such a fun proposal to photograph.

Henry and Sydney arrived at the home they were renting in Park City for a ski trip, and Sydney genuinely wasn’t expecting a thing. When they walked into the living room, she was immediately greeted by a floral installation and a stranger with a big camera pointed right at her (hi, that would be me). Things unfolded quickly from there — Henry guided her under the flowers, got down on one knee, and asked her to marry him.

Sydney said yes, of course, and then had a few moments to take everything in before friends and family burst in to celebrate with them. It was the sweetest combination of surprise, adrenaline, and happy tears — which is basically the proposal trifecta.
