If you’re planning a Catholic wedding ceremony in Salt Lake City, there are multiple beautiful options. This blog post describes a few of the most popular options. Catholic churches host wedding ceremonies/mass, but you’ll need to find a second location for your reception.

1. Cathedral of the Madeleine (most popular)

• 📍 Downtown Salt Lake City
• Massive cathedral, European-style architecture
• The most visually ornate Catholic wedding venue in Utah
• Saturday weddings are at either 11am or 1:30pm

2. Saint Ambrose Catholic Church

• 📍 Sugar House area of Salt Lake City
• Clean, classic interior
• Has access to a second floor view from above for your photographer

3. St. Mary’s Catholic Church (45 minutes away from Salt Lake City, but I would highly recommend)

• 📍 Park City
• Tons of natural light (rare for Catholic churches)
• Mountain views right outside

This is arguably the best combo of church + being in the mountains.

4. Our Lady of Lourdes (SLC)

• 📍 Near downtown / University area
• Smaller, more intimate feel
• Nice for mid-size weddings

5. St. Ann Catholic Church

• 📍 South Salt Lake

Other Nearby Options

From the Diocese directory :

• Blessed Sacrament (Sandy)
• St. John the Baptist (Draper)
• St. Joseph the Worker (West Jordan)

These have more of a local parish feel.
