Albion Basin Senior Photos | Utah Wildflower Session

During the Winter and Spring, Albion Basin is a fun ski run. But during late July through early August, the hill explodes with all sorts of different wildflowers – purple, red, yellow, and white. And with the iconic mountains in the background, this is one of the most popular photo locations in Utah for a good reason.

For this senior session, we met early in the morning to take advantage of the flattering light and to avoid the crowds that swarm later in the day. Shooting at sunrise let us avoid parking complications and gave us quiet trails, untouched fields of wildflowers, and a calm, relaxed pace.

I’m a Utah local and spend a lot of time outdoors. I’d consider myself a Utah mountain expert and can give lots of recommendations for the best places to take photos year-round. Please reach out if you’re looking for that 🙂
