Kimball Terrace Wedding Information & Cost
Venues are always changing their pricing and policies, so the information in this blog may be out-of-date. But as of 2025 when I’m writing this…
Perched on the top floor of the historic Kimball building, Kimball Terrace pairs an industrial-chic interior (exposed brick, brass accents, 4 500 ft² of windows) with a wrap-around rooftop balcony that looks straight down Park City’s neon-lit Main Street one way and up to the ski runs the other. Indoors, the hall can be re-configured with movable wall panels for everything from a 40-guest brunch to a 300-person cocktail blow-out.
The venue’s street address is 675 Main Street (entrance on Heber Avenue), Park City, UT 84060. Right outside the doors, guests step out onto Main Street’s restaurants, galleries, and après bars.
Kimball Terrace is open year-round for weddings and events; only Sundance Film Festival dates are blacked out (custom quotes apply if you really want a January premiere-week bash).
The rental fee covers the entire floor—Main Hall, lobby bar, two balconies, tables, chairs, house décor, and cleaning:
Most couples hold vows on the west terrace, ringed with juniper planters and mountain panoramas, while the east balcony works for intimate elopements with a Main-Street backdrop. In winter the ceremony flips inside in front of floor-to-ceiling windows with zero décor change-over.
Dinner and dancing unfold in the 4 500-ft² Main Hall—polished concrete floors, brick and wood textures, built-in lounge pockets, and glass doors that keep the party flowing onto both balconies. A catering prep area, four unisex restroom suites, and a movable built-in bar are already in place.
There’s a small green-room–style suite behind the bar that works for touch-ups, but no full bridal cottage. Plan to do hair and makeup at a different location.
The standard contract grants 10 consecutive hours (e.g., noon–10 p.m.) including vendor load-in and strike; house staff handles tables/chairs, and outside vendors can access the freight elevator as early as four hours before guest arrival by arrangement.
All other vendors except for catering—planner, florist, DJ/band, rentals, photo/video—are your choice.
A Kimball Terrace event specialist drafts floor plans, AV needs, and timeline, coordinates with Culinary Crafts, and remains on-site for the flip. For design and guest logistics, the venue “loves working with outside planners.”
Food & bar are exclusive to Culinary Crafts, the award-winning team that owns the space. Everything is made from scratch in-house—think Utah elk sliders, local-cheese grazing boards, and late-night ramen bars. Bar service is consumption or package.
Street parking on Main is metered and tight; direct guests to the China Bridge Garage (Swede Alley, two minutes’ walk) or have them use Park City’s free transit. During Sundance and Kimball Arts Festival, a shuttle is mandatory.
Within four blocks you’ll find the Marriott MountainSide, Pendry Park City, Treasure Mountain Inn, and scores of VRBO condos—no room block obligations and zero driving required once guests arrive.
Only ADA-defined service animals may be inside the building; emotional-support animals or pets must stay at pet-friendly hotels nearby.
