Mountain Proposal at Empire Pass Overlook, Park City | Austin & Alaina

Empire Pass Overlook is one of my favorite places for proposals in Park City. It sits high above Deer Valley and has one of those wide-open, panoramic views that instantly make everything feel more cinematic. It’s also a great spot if you want something that feels private without having to hike or trek somewhere elaborate. Most of the best viewpoints are just off the road, and then you can wander a little for more photo options. After the proposal, you’re also super close to Park City and Deer Valley, so it’s easy to grab dinner or celebrate somewhere cozy — which is always a fun way to end the day.
Austin is from Houston, Texas but he has frequently been to Park City and chose to pop the question here. He’d never been in the fall & we unfortunately just missed fall colors for this proposal, but the mountains are gorgeous year round. Albeit windier and colder than Texas haha.
