Noah & Jami’s Wedding at her Childhood Home in Traverse City, MI
“Caili and her team were incredible professionals, both with the actual photography but also, equally importantly, with the organization of locations, people, sequencing of events, etc. We got so many excellent photos throughout our wedding weekend thanks to Caili and her team’s ability to capture great moments. They made everyone feel comfortable with clear directions and awareness during the staged photos and got so many great candids at the reception without missing a beat or interrupting the flow of the party. Everyone who has seen the photos has loved them and we’ve ordered prints for ourselves and many family members! Highly recommend working with Caili.”
-Review from Noah
Jami and Noah have been together since they were 14 years old. And I’ve been around to hear about their relationship antics that entire time because Jami is my cousin 🙂 I was honored when they requested that I photograph their wedding.
My aunt has been dreaming of hosting a wedding at their family home in Traverse City, MI for years. And it truly is a wonderful home. Next to Lake Michigan, their vast land is surrounded by lush trees. In addition to it, obviously, being sentimental as Jami’s childhood home. The wedding party got ready in this home & the ceremony was hosted here as well. The ceremony arch was constructed by my aunt and uncle out of trees on the property.
Jami & Noah had originally intended to have the reception at the home as well. However, they have too many friends and family to fit everyone under a tent & didn’t want to risk the weather and open air. So guests transported to the Peninsula Room, a venue just a few minutes drive away for wonderful dinner, drinks & dancing.
