Stein Eriksen is a popular place to propose in Park City for good reason. There’s a patio with views of the ski slopes that looks beautiful in every season, and the resort makes it very easy to transition indoors for gourmet food, wine, and warmth. And if you’re extra fancy, Deer Valley even has alpenglobes for dining, horse-drawn sleigh rides, and other thoughtful luxuries that make a proposal extra special.

Cameron and Maddie had dinner planned in one of the alpenglobes before the proposal, which ran a little longer than expected. So I posted up outside in the cold— camera ready — waiting for the moment to happen. In total, I think I waited shivering for thirty minutes, showing my commitment to the job haha.

The wait was worth it. The proposal was incredibly sweet and Maddie’s reaction made the whole scene feel even more magical. Winter proposals in Park City have that particular charm: quiet surroundings, snow for atmosphere, and a backdrop that makes everything look cinematic. Stein Eriksen just adds to it — a little luxury, a little romance, and a setting that photographs beautifully.
