“I am SO happy with the engagement photos that Caili captured of me and my boyfriend. She is, by far, the best photographer I have worked with. She stood out in these three ways:

1. Great attitude under pressure: Caili went above and beyond to ensure that not only we, but our group of friends who showed up as well, received the best experience possible. Throughout the shoot, she was patient with us and maintained a fun and positive attitude that made everyone feel at ease in front of the camera.

2. Clear vision, exceptional execution: Caili was attentive and accommodating to our requests, yet had a clear vision for the shoot. She was the one who recommended the proposal spot to my boyfriend, and throughout the shoot, gave us direction in terms of poses, outfits, and backdrops. 3. Fast turnaround: The turnaround time for the edits was simply outstanding. Caili provided us with the first round of edits on the same day as the shoot, and the rest of the edits were completed by the next day. Robert contacted me and told me that he was planning on proposing to his girlfriend Rachel while on a ski trip. They were coming in from Southern California, so he asked for my recommendation for a mountain-y place to pop the question. We decided on Log Haven in Millcreek Canyon.

We weren’t expecting all that snow on the waterfall patio haha. But I think this was still a beautiful place to propose. A friend of theirs got to Log Haven early and put a bag with the ring in the snow. When Rachel & Robert arrived, they went to the waterfall to admire the view. Then Robert pointed out the bag in the snow, opened it up, and pulled out the ring.

But the ring wasn’t Rachel’s only surprise that day. She knew that 4 friends (coincidentally – including a girl I knew from Berkeley but haven’t seen since college) were coming to Utah with them for their ski trip. But four other friends also flew out from California to surprise her. Ugly tears were cried haha.
