Jake and Lauren are eye candy and so easy to take engagement photos of!

The couple recently moved to Utah together from Texas, so they wanted to show off their new home in their photos. We started out at Jordan Pines in Big Cottonwood Canyon which was beautiful and snowy and like a postcard.

After that, we were able to warm up in the car while driving to BTG Wine Bar in downtown Salt Lake City. I’ve been shooting in Utah for a while, so I’ve frequently been to the most popular photo locations. But I’ve never shot photos inside a bar, so this was a unique and fun experience. Lauren had been inspired to take engagement photos like this from Pinterest and I had a fun time perusing through her inspiration board beforehand 😉
