River Bottom Ranch Wedding Information & Cost
Venues are always changing their pricing and policies, so the information in this blog may be out-of-date. But as of 2021 when I’m writing this…
1374 N River Rd
Midway, UT 84049
River Bottoms Ranch is approximately 50 minutes from the Salt Lake City International Airport.
Prices vary depending on season. And holidays are subject to additional fees. But just using Fall 2021 as a reference point, if your wedding takes place on Monday through Thursday, the venue is $11,000 + $400 security fee. A wedding on Friday through is $14,000 + $400 security fee. This includes the venue for 12 hours, their dinner tables and chairs, and the guidance of their venue coordinator up to and on the day of your wedding.
The barn can accommodate up to 200 guests for a sit-down dinner or up to 300 for an open-house reception.
The outdoor ceremony site is pretty iconic. Large, double doors open up for the bride to make her entrance. And as the bride and groom say their vows, behind them is a private pond, fields, and mountains in the distance.
They also have a new outdoor pavilion which allows cover in case of rain or snow.
Most receptions are held in the white, modern-farmhouse barn. It has three story ceilings with chandeliers, indoor balconies, and large windows to showcase the beautiful mountain views.
The getting ready areas are really exceptional! Upstairs, their bridal suite has the dreamiest lighting and windows so the bride can watch guests arrive. There are multiple mirrors, a full bathroom, and a sitting area. The groom’s room is just as fun. There’s a large TV, sitting area, and full bath.
Only one event is hosted per day.
When you book RBR for your wedding day, you’ll get exclusive use of property from 11am-11pm.
You can use any vendor of your choice with the exception of food and beverage. The venue requires you choose from four different catering companies with different menus and price points. And the venue requires you work with Top Shelf.
River Bottoms Ranch is somewhat unusual in-so-far that they require couples to hire a wedding planner. Please budget accordingly! Your planner will be responsible for providing a detailed timeline & floor plan for the venue. You can hire any planner for full planning services or a month-of service from their exclusive list. All planners must be licensed and insured.
The venue provides a venue coordinator, but this is not the same as a planner. You must hire a wedding planner.
The venue requires you choose from one of the below four catering companies:
Alcohol is allowed, but you must use the venue’s bar service and security is required for $400. If you have over 200 guests, two security guards are required.
They have their own parking lot, and the whole venue if yours for your wedding day so it’s yours to fill up!
Overnight lodging for a total of 28 guests can be added for an additional cost. On the main level of the lodging space there are 4 king bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen, hot tub, fireplace, sitting room and large dining area. On the second level there are two large bunk rooms each with 9-10 beds and 2 additional bathrooms.
