The Utah State Capitol is one of my go-to locations for Salt Lake City senior photos — and it’s easy to see why. It creates a clean, bright, and refined atmosphere that photographs beautifully in every season. And Maddie went to high school school 10 minutes away, so it was a good way to nod to home before she left for college in Alabama.

Maddie originally wasn’t planning on taking senior photos, despite her mom wanting her to. However, as she starting the rush process, she realized she needed a professional headshot and I (and mom!) were more than happy to oblige.
