Jon and Kira are wonderful. While working with them, I appreciated how easy-going and fun they were, but also organized and responsive and able to execute a really beautiful event.

Kira & Jon planned something very intimate by inviting only ~20 of their closest friends and family to celebrate this day with them. This allowed them to really talk with everyone present. And they were able to request that everyone in attendance give a toast which was also a lot of fun! Some guests were prepared for this and others were not – but since everyone there knew the couple so well, each speech was truly lovely. And both the bride and groom have engaged siblings who are throwing larger weddings of their own in the near future anyway.

We began at Kira & Jon’s home in the Avenues. This was a particularly special getting-ready location because this is the first home that they have owned together. And we got to capture their cat and dog while there 🙂

We then made our way to the Orangerie at Red Butte Garden for a sweet ceremony, dinner, and dancing.
