Silver Fork Lodge is a beautiful, mountainous venue in Big Cottonwood Canyon. It has stone fireplaces, cozy wooden log interiors, and breathtaking views. The building was initially constructed in the 19th century, serving local miners and sawmill workers. After several renovations, the venue still possesses its authentic charm.

Silver Fork Lodge Seasonal Availability

Silver Fork Lodge is available year-round, but guest capacity is more limited in the winter months.

Silver Fork Lodge Cost:

Banquet Area Pricing: The banquet facility has an indoor area, a covered patio in the summer & an outside terrace. It’s surrounded by mountains, aspens, and pines.

1. Ceremony Only – $900
   • Two-hour time period. Certain times of the day are restricted for a ceremony only such as Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday mornings.
2. Reception only – no facility fee
   • Food & drinks are served from the banquet menu, not the restaurant menu
3. Ceremony & Reception – $700
4. Private event for small weddings – $200
   • Restaurant menu allowed

Restaurant Closure Pricing: You can also have your wedding and reception in the restaurant area and the upper deck.  There is a closure fee for this area to ensure a private function.

1. November-April
   • Monday-Thursday: $2,000
   • Friday-Sunday: $3,500
2. May-October
   • Monday-Thursday: $3,500
   • Friday – Sunday + Holiday Time Periods: $5,000

Food & drinks costs will also apply. Dinner costs range from $35 – $63 per person.

Silver Fork Lodge Capacity:

The Silver Fork Lodge banquet facility can seat up to 100 people outdoors and another 50 inside. November through April, the banquet area maxes out at 60 people.

Silver Fork Lodge can accommodate up to 250 people between the upstairs restaurant and downstairs banquet area. From November through April, Silver Fork can accommodate up to 120 people.

Silver Fork Lodge Ceremony & Reception Site:

Couples can host their ceremony and reception in a grass clearing surrounded by trees, in their pavilion, on a patio, or in one of the indoor banquet spaces.

Silver Fork Lodge Getting Ready Location:

A complimentary room is provided for one of the pair to get ready in & stay in overnight. However, this room is based on availability, is not available December – March, and not offered for a ceremony-only wedding at the lodge.

Silver Fork Lodge Set Up Time:

Two hours of set-up time is allowed before the start of the event.

Silver Fork Lodge Vendor Flexibility:

Silver Fork provides a venue coordinator & food and drinks – all other vendors must be from outside the venue.

Silver Fork Lodge Venue Coordinator:

Silver Fork Lodge provides the services of a Day-of wedding coordinator.

Catering Options:

Silver Fork lodge provides all food and drinks. Dinner costs range from $35 – $63 per person. There is a 50-person minimum on weekends from June through Mid-October. Groups over 40 people will be buffet. Plated is an additional $5/person.

They will also cut and serve your cake (they do not provide the cake).

If you’ve booked your wedding at Silver Fork Lodge, you can reserve all all the lodge’s overnight capacity. Between its 7 available rooms, 18 people can spend the night here.

Pets are not allowed in the canyon because it is a watershed.
