Alta Lodge offers a unique and romantic setting for memorable mountain weddings. Located at the top of Little Cottonwood Canyon, this venue offers breathtaking views.

$6,000 – Facility rental fee (includes indoor and outdoor space) for a five-hour time period. Additional time can be arranged on an hourly basis.

The maximum guest capacity is 130 guests.
Most ceremonies take place on an outdoor patio with majestic mountain views.
Receptions can either take place indoors or outdoors on their patios.
The venue provides two changing rooms for use during the day of your event. You could also get ready in their complimentary lodging for the wedding couple. This room has a private balcony, fireplace, king-size bed, and mountain views.
For a completely private event, Alta Lodge will close its doors to all outside lodging guests.
The venue will be available for set-up and decorations two hours prior to your event start time.
The venues provides an on-site wedding coordinator.
Alta Lodge provides all food and alcohol for their events with the exception of wedding cake. Meals are priced per person. Dinner can be plated, buffet, or a mountain cookout. Dinner ranges from $26-$58.
Alta Lodge recommends Cakes de Fleur for your wedding cake. There is a $1.50 per person serving charge for wedding cakes or desserts not provided by Cakes de Fleur.
Alta Lodge offers non-alcoholic specialty beverages, beer, wine, liquor, and signature cocktails. A flat beverage service fee of $300 covers all set-up, breakdown, and bartenders for a hosted event.Prices are per drink served.
The venue provides an included wedding night lodging for the wedding couple.
In addition, Alta Lodge has 44 guest rooms with spectacular mountain views. Lodging rates include breakfast. Saturday night lodging rates include our renowned Sunday Brunch.
Pets are not allowed at the Lodge. Dogs are not allowed anywhere in Little Cottonwood Canyon because the area is a protected watershed.
If you want your beloved dog to be part of your wedding ceremony, it is possible with advance notice to obtain a temporary Town of Alta license. In this special situation, we can accommodate your dog, during the day (not overnight), on leash, and outside the Lodge buildings only.
Alta Lodge staff takes care of set up and breakdown of all tables, chairs, china, silverware, glassware, and linens.
Having your wedding here also includes flowers provided by the venue: (2) arrangements at the roadside entry, (1) arrangement on a guest sign-in table, (2) large arrangements in the lobby (these will also be used on the dinner buffet, if applicable), small arrangements on all the dining tables, (1) arrangement in the ladies’ room. We do not guarantee specific colors or flowers in the florals we provide, but we tend to keep neutral whites and greens all summer long. You are not permitted to alter the arrangements we provide in any way but are more than welcome to work with a florist or bring in your own florals to use in place of, or in addition to, what we provide. We have an assortment of off-white ceramic bud vases for the table arrangements.
