I first met Audrey & her mom when I photographed Audrey’s high school senior photos. It was an honor to spend time with them again – this time with Audrey’s new husband and the rest of everyone’s family and friends!

Audrey & Taylor have known each other since junior high school. They were good friends and Taylor liked her during high school, but it wasn’t until they were college-aged that they started dating. Even though she was at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City & he was all the way in Provo at BYU in Provo. But now they’re married, so their somewhat-long-distance relationship can come to an end 🙂

We wanted to capture Taylor’s reaction to seeing Audrey in her wedding dress for the first time, so we met a few days before their wedding to take bridal photos at Bountiful Temple. A wedding day is pretty hectic, so doing bridal photos at a separate time really allowed us to not feel rushed and gave us so much more time to get plenty of beautiful images. It also minimized the amount of time our fair-skinned bride spent in the bright sun getting sunburnt on her actual wedding day…
