On the last day of our trip, my family took an earlier flight from Oahu back to the mainland and left me alone in Hawaii for a couple of hours. No complaints here!

I reached out to a local wedding planner and told her I was itching to shoot in paradise. She was super nice and accommodating and during those solo hours, I was able to meet up with the nicest couple and a few of their closest friends.

They had a vow renewal on the beach. Complete with a ukelele serenade. His and her leis. And a local wedding officiant who shared local wedding customs. And they had their daughter “walk her down the aisle.”

The husband still teared up when he saw his wife. What a beautiful way to end a beautiful trip.
