Snowy High West Distillery Proposal, Wanship Utah

Cole was visiting Park City with his girlfriend and decided it was the perfect place to ask her to marry him. He’d been researching proposal ideas and found my blog post, Where to Propose in Park City, Utah, which honestly made my day — that’s exactly why I make those guides. After some planning, we settled on High West Distillery, which is one of my favorite spots for winter proposals. It’s cozy, it feels very “Park City,” and you can celebrate with whiskey immediately afterward, which feels like a strong proposal strategy.
We met at High West for lunch, a whiskey tasting, and then the big moment. She said “yes!” (and very enthusiastically) as light snow fell around us — like something out of a winter tourism commercial. Utah really likes to show off in December.
There are a lot of great places to propose in Park City, but High West is especially fun because it balances casual and celebratory. No elaborate logistics, just good food, good drinks, pretty snow, and one very life-changing question.
