Proposal at High West Distillery in Wanship
Gino and his girlfriend were visiting Utah from Germany around Christmas time, and he decided this snowy mountain adventure was the perfect setting to ask her to marry him. He found my blog post, Where to Propose in Park City, Utah, and was immediately sold on High West Distillery in Wanship as the spot. Good food, good whiskey, good views — honestly, a solid proposal formula.
The couple made a reservation for lunch and a distillery tour, completely unaware that their future proposal photographer was tagging along in the background. After the tour and a whiskey tasting (liquid courage on theme), they walked up to an overlook to admire the mountains. That’s when Gino got down on one knee and asked her to marry him.
She said yes — of course — and the two of them had a few minutes to take in the moment, call family back home, and warm up before heading back inside. Winter proposals in Utah just hit differently. The snow, the mountains, the cozy après vibe… it all feels like it was designed for big life decisions.
Congratulations again to these beautiful humans — thank you for letting me tag along for such a meaningful day.
