Where to Propose in Park City, Utah
This is a guide of some places to pop the question in Park City, Utah. Park City is so beautiful, all year long. And this is, by no means, a comprehensive list of gorgeous places in our little mountain town to pop the question. But still a fun blog nonetheless!

Proposing on a ski slope would be a truly magical experience. You can choose a spot that overlooks the stunning scenery of the area, or pick a quiet area where you can stop and take in the view together.
Note – I’m an expert skier and can handle any ski terrain available! So it is no problem for me to photograph your proposal on the slopes. I even have an ikon pass, so I can ski any resort in Utah except Park City Canyons for no additional charge.
Somewhat related to the ski slopes idea… Stein Eriksen is a lodge that you can ski in and out of at Deer Valley. But you can also just park your car and walk normally. There are multiple wonderful places here where you could propose. There is a scenic outdoor deck in the back. And various alpine globes for adorable dining. And you can even arrange a horse-drawn carriage ride.
In addition, the lodge has exceptional food and drinks which can be a great way to celebrate your engagement later.
Park City’s Main Street is a charming street with cute, colorful buildings. It has numerous shops, art galleries, restaurants, and entertainment venues that offer something for everyone. And there are views of majestic mountains that surround this area.
Located on the top of a mountain, Empire Pass offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding valleys, mountains, and ski slopes. Unfortunately, this road is closed by the Utah Department of Transportation in the Winter – dates of which vary.
Guardsman Pass is the road that connects Park City and Big Cottonwood Canyon. It is closed during the winter, but it is gorgeous during the Summer and Fall. Usually around the first week of October, all the trees are amazingly golden.
McPolin Barn in Park City is a charming place. You can choose to propose with the rustic barn or with the expansive lawn as your backdrop. The location is surrounded by a stunning landscape of mountains, streams, trees, and fields.
The crystal clear water of Jordanelle Reservoir is surrounded by the stunning mountains. The location is peaceful and remote, providing a private and intimate moment for you and your partner.
High West Distillery has a restaurant by Park City Main Street. But they also have the distillery, where the alcohol is made, in Wanship, about a 40-minute drive from Park City. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating areas, including a patio with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Visitors to the distillery can take a guided tour of the facility to learn about the history and process of whiskey making. In addition to the tour, High West Distillery has a restaurant on-site.
This is not exactly in Park City, but roughly 20 minutes away, in between Salt Lake City and Park City. It is a beautiful body of water with mountain views. And in the spring, it explodes with yellow wildflowers.
This is a private property in Midway (close to Park City, but not in the city), so you have to contact the venue to make arrangements in advance! But if you got permission from the owners, this could a beautiful place to pop the question!
River Bottom Ranch is located in a serene and remote area, surrounded by the stunning beauty of the mountains and the lush greenery of the valley. You can choose to propose on the charming rustic bridge, in the blooming meadow or under the shaded trees.
