Christopher & Augustine’s Wedding at Alpine Arts Center
Augustine & Christopher are such a wonderful couple. And it was so obvious how much all their friends and family love them. They started dating in high school and have stayed together through graduation, college, graduation part 2, getting jobs, and a move to North Carolina. The morning of, I asked both of them how they were feeling. And they both responded that they had felt some pressure leading up to this event, but now they were just ready to get officially married!
These two were the perfect combination of fun and stress-free, but also organized and with a clear vision of what they wanted. Honestly, the dream 🙂 When I first got the inquiry for this wedding, the bride told me that her mom had reached out to many different vendors without consulting her first, but Augustine was particular about what she was looking for. Which made it especially flattering that Augustine still chose to trust me with capturing these memories. So thanks mom for connecting us!
Their wedding felt very true to them and their unique style. I love how Chris’s green suit matches Augustine’s green engagement ring (which she chose herself). And I loved that their wedding was officiated by a close friend. This was the first wedding that I’ve seen where the officiant cried during the ceremony. And also the first wedding where the groom lost his shoes by the end of the night haha.
Also – I photographed this wedding with a very large pregnant belly! And that was fine, but I did notice that I used to have an easier time squeezing in-between guests on a dance floor to get to better angles. This time, I found myself bumping into people frequently, so apologies for that lol.
Congrats again to Augustine & Chris!
