I’m actually related to this gorgeous soon-to-be bride. My cousin found her other half, and they’re getting married this fall in Chicago. Very grateful for the privilege of being her wedding photographer.

This couple lives in Indiana, but luckily we had plans to see each other so we could take engagement photos before the big day. We had originally planned on taking their engagement photos in January while we were all in Texas for the 2022 Houston Marathon. However, I got Covid and lost my voice for a few days – rendering me incapable of providing direction. Luckily, they were also coming to Utah in March to ski. And honestly, I think Utah is so beautiful and it couldn’t have worked out better!

The groom didn’t have a preference and the bride had location-decision-paralysis, so we didn’t know where we would be shooting until 15 minutes before. But I think it worked out well! We ended up just walking out the doors of where they were staying to take photos around downtown Salt Lake City. And then we took a quick trip to Little Dell Reservoir in Emigration Canyon.
