Badr & Fatimah’s Wedding at the Utah Capitol & Arbat
Badr & Fatimah are adorable people, and I was honored to celebrate their marriage with them!
We started out at Fatimah’s home for getting ready & a first look. Then, we adventured to the Utah State Capitol for gorgeous photos of the couple. It was pretty much as warm and sunny as a January wedding possibly could be 🙂 And then we made our way to Arbat Event Center to celebrate with friends and family.
I had the wonderful opportunity to experience Badr & Fatimah’s culture for the first time. Apparently, it’s customary for them usually has more than one wedding-related event. This event was called their “engagement party” and they are planning another celebration in Saudi Arabia later.
The Arbat building was sectioned off and the genders remained separate for the evening. The only exception was when the groom was allowed to the woman’s side of the building in order to put jewelry on his bride, cut the cake with her, and do one dance together.
