“Golden hour” has become a well-known phrase.

But you can really tell it’s golden hour when you can stand in a yellow field. We went out planning to go to the beach at Bodega Bay. But while walking to the ocean, I saw this patch of golden grass and instantly wanted to shoot there. Emma and Amanda made it happen even better than I imagined it in my head.
